With the help of my family I started this business as a young Home schooled girl living in the Gold Coast with the idea of removing myself from the electronic world, getting creative, learning to pursue goals and dreams and building a future and creating independence.

Luckily for me I had a passion for candles and my family came from a culinary background where flavours smells and attention to detail were the norm. A great Candle is about finding that perfect recipe, so we got to work, got busy and Gold Coast Candle Factory was born!

I also want to be an inspiration to all those people out there, both young and old, who have wonderful ideas but feel they aren’t good enough to achieve and succeed and encourage everyone to just make a start, have a go and believe in yourself.
